A setting of Shakespeare’s sonnet ‘Let me confess…’. There are two quotations which appear, both from Robert Johnson II (who sometimes provided music for Shakespeare’s plays): the ‘Pavan in C minor’ and ‘Adieu, fond love’. Something of the air surrounding Elizabethan music should be communicated here too.
